A conveyer belt moves the ore from the crusher to the processing plant and is approximately 1/3 mile (½ km) in length and about 5 feet (1½ m) wide.
This conveyer is enclosed in a structure to protect it from the harsh winter conditions. To allow for conveyer inspection and maintenance, a walkway stretches the full length of the structure. The belt leads to several silos which store the crude ore until it is required for processing.
