Some of the duplexes and bungalows located south of the windscreen apartments.

A street of single and duplex homes. After living in Labrador City where garages are rare, it looks peculiar to see all the garages in Fermont. Because of the long seven-month winters, many people grow flowers during the brief, cool summers; therefore, you will notice flower baskets and flowers in the yards. One of the remaining things from Gagnon are a few of these houses that were moved when that town was destroyed.

The same street photographed in spring. Taken on April 8, 2006. Please note the same van is in the driveway; which gives an idea of the height of the pile of snow even after approximately 20% has melted.

If you lived here, could you determine which was your driveway in winter? At the end of the street is a mountain with a cross and a look-out platform. |
