Cars are being loaded onto the ferry in preparation for the scenic, one-mile (1½ km) crossing of the Saguenay River. This was a late evening crossing and there were very few passenger vehicles and no transport trucks. Since these ferries are considered part of the Trans-Canada highway, there is no charge for crossing the river. |
