Even though moving away from metropolitan areas, roadside attractions still abound.
These cute little smurfs with toadstool buildings sit in front of a fast food and ice cream shop.
We've never driven by during summer season when this establishment is open; therefore, we can't comment on the quality of the food or explain what's inside the toadstools. Possibly toads?

If toads aren't your style, you can drive down the road a few kilometers and encounter these two ferocious (yet gentle to customers) gigantic dogs.
The RCA dog may not be as docile as his pose implies, he actually needs more air before his plastic body deflates.

This little guy actually has his own name and house. However, by the look of it, he may actually starve to death before he gets that bone through the door.
Once you enter this rural area, you'll notice people have found many ingenious uses for a variety of common household items. One we particularly remember was the use of bleach bottles turned upside down and on a pipe with 3 of 4 sides of a square cut and the fourth side folded back to catch the wind making it spin like a weather vane.

Between Forrestville and Baie Comeau is an interesting walking trail along this waterfall.
