Railway Walk

A few meters (yards) behind our cabin we accessed the Newfoundland Railway Hiking Trail. This section of the trail meandered through woodlands displaying their early autumn splendor with babbling brooks and waterfalls serenading their beauty. This multi-purpose trail can be used to walk, hike, jog, bike, ski, snowmobile, ATV or horseback ride. We often started our morning with a walk through this tranquil area and enjoyed the friendliness of other trail users.

Debbie's sister said the sound of the water rushing over the 4½ m (15 ft) waterfall was very soothing and relaxing and helped her get a good night's sleep.
