La Manche Provincial Park - Doctor's Cove

Approximately 1/2 K (3/10 mile) from the suspension bridge is Doctor's Cove. By the time we reached this area, these two old folks were getting rather tired. We decided to sit and take a rest. As we rested, the sun came out and the fog dissipated and we were able to get photos with and without fog. We also got to meet new friends from British Columbia: Sylvia and Clive. We hope they enjoyed the rest of their Newfoundland vacation.

The above two photos are taken of the same area of Doctor's Cove. In the photo at the left you can see most of the one side of the cove; however, the photo on the right has been cropped to show a family enjoying a hike. The beach would be perfect for a small fire for wienie and marshmallow roast. It's amazing how huge the rocks are in Newfoundland.
