This was the most unique foundation left. At first Debbie was convinced it had housed a water mill; however, when we looked at photos of La Manche before the storm, it looked like a home. Gary is convinced that the hole in the foundation was so the owner could easily store his boat under his home in the winter. If you look at the links below, you will see this house. A section of the house was on stilts built out over the water with the stage for drying fish at the end of the home.
