These steps are actually a lot steeper then they appear on the photograph. But it was still a nice break from the rocky inclines.

Part of the boardwalk section of the East Coast Hiking Trail. Our feet loved the break from steep rocky, gravely paths.

A steep set of steps greet the hiker after crossing the expansion bridge. Viewed from a distance, it looks like a maze - but it helped us climb rapidly to the hiking trail above.

The above boardwalk taken from across the harbour. This marks the end of the easy hiking as the trail quickly turns to rock, mud and root-covered paths.
