Discovery Center 1 at Gros Morne

Near Woody Point is housed the Gros Morne Discovery Centre. This facility houses high quality, interactive and educational exhibits to learn more about the area's human history, geology, plant, animal, and marine life. Over half million dollars was spent in creating the educational aspect of this center. The children's art center in the basement helps reinforce learning for children who visit the park. Although we enjoyed our tour of the Discovery Center, we were awed by the vistas surrounding this center.
