The harbour at Brigus has natural breakwaters as seen in the top left photo.



This photo was taken in July 2007. There have been a lot of new homes built on the waterfront during the past year. There are few places left to stand and enjoy the view of beautiful Brigus Bay.		A close up of the photo to the left showing some of the new buildings. We call the new, four-story homes "The Atrocities" because the architecture is in disharmony with the quaint atmosphere of Brigus. These are a perfect example of the old slogan "sticking out like a sore thumb."
