Iceberg

The iceberg as seen from Central Street, Bay Roberts, on 14 June 2007. The night before, the iceberg split into four major pieces. These are the two largest pieces that remain.

Iceberg
A closer view at the piece on the left.

Iceberg
Another view - complete with a helicopter sneaking around the "fin" of the iceberg.

Iceberg
This is a real honest-to-goodness helicopter flown by a pilot (we assume he or she was); it is not a miniature, remote-control one. The piece of the iceberg on the right.

Iceberg
The unique shape of this ice was fascinating. You can see a church in the background. This is the third piece remaining from the large iceberg.

Iceberg
The smaller, fourth piece of the iceberg didn't at first appear very interesting.

Iceberg
After we put our camera away, we heard a loud crack like a rifle being shot; when we turned around we noticed part of this small iceberg had fallen off.
