Photos of iceberg 10590 taken from Upper Island Cove on June 6, 2007. We found watching the white fog coming from the top of the iceberg eerily beautiful; especially since it was an overcast and slightly foggy day. We were close enough we could hear the noises it made. According to a local resident, the cliffs on this iceberg were approximately 50 to 60 feet tall. This iceberg would be classified as tabular in shape and medium is size. But it sure looked big to us; especially since it was so close to shore.
