Scully Mine at Wabush, Labrador, is owned by a consortium of smaller steel companies including Defasco and Cleveland-Cliffs. Cleveland-Cliffs acts as the managing agent for the company. The top photo, taken from the parking lot of the Wabush Shopping Plaza, shows the entire mining complex. From left to right are the load-out, the processing plant, mine service garages, office complex and crusher. Behind the buildings are the iron ore pits. The lower photo shows the concentrating facilities on the right and the mine service garage to the left. The train engines in the center are pushing empty ore cars towards the loadout for loading before transporting the product to Point Noir.
