Debbie's Father's Business

At one time this building belonged to Debbie's father and was his original garage. It's undergone a lot of renovations, additions and owners since those days in the 1950s when Debbie use to roller skate on the cement slab, play with dolls under the shade of the cottonwood tree, or sit on the front step and wave at tourists. Before Debbie's father owned this business, her friend JoAnn's grandfather, Walter Houtz, had been the owner and Debbie's father worked for him.

Kensington Main Street

Main Street Kensington. The building to the left with the white garage door and green paint once was a garage owned by Debbie's father. Further down on the right side of the street was Debbie's mother's children's clothing store, Tot an' Teens. Later the laundromat was in that store and in the early 2000s; those three adjoining stores were demolished.
