Part of the beautiful scenery you can see if you take the passenger train from Labrador City to Sept-Iles, Quebec. Because of the weight of the trains, the maximum grade along the rail line was 4%. To achieve this, the right of way had to be blasted through the mountains.

When a train carries both products, the usual configuration would be pellets on the front cars and concentrate on the back end of the train.
There is a practical reason for this arrangement. Because of the extreme cold in winter, the company tries to avoid having concentrate (which still contains a certain percentage of moisture) sit in the cars any longer then is absolutely needed so it doesn't freeze into the cars.
