On October 19, 1993, M/V Athesis Ore, pictured to the left, set a North American record when 255,653 tons of IOCC pellets and concentrate was loaded into her hold.

The loaded tanker, Rutland, leaving IOCC in Sept-Iles, Quebec. This tanker could be on its way to such varied destinations as Australia, Japan, Sweden, Germany, China, USA or Canada.
