Product is retrieved from the stockpile using two tow reclaim machines, each with a capacity to move 7,500 tonnes per hour. The tow machine dumps the concentrate or pellets onto a conveyor belt system. The belting system ends with a tripper car, one for each tow reclaim machine. These tripper cars are on rails and move up and down the length of the ship depositing the pellets or concentrate into the holds of the ore carrier.
