Loadout - Pellet and Concentrate Stockpile

This photo shows the system by which the finished iron pellets are transported to the pellet bowl to await loading into the ore trains. The pile shown represents 450 rail cars of pellets and each rail car hold from 90 to 100 tonnes of product.

This is a photo of the pellet and concentrator load-out where the finished product is loaded into trains for transport to Sept-Iles. If you look closely, you can see a train in the process of being loaded - the train is shown from the bottom left corner to the central right about 3/4 of the way across the photo. In the foreground you can see the new tailings pump house and the tailings lines cutting diagonally through the right, lower portion of the photo.
