The Crusher

The crusher control room operator sits in this little booth. From here he controls the seven trains, two crushers and the conveyer belt system that removes the crushed ore.

Looking over the top of a gondola while it is being dumped into the crusher pit. The gondola is made on hydraulics so the right side rises on dumping arms, the bottom tilts, and the left side raises above the ore so the ore slides quickly into the crusher pit.

The two photos above show the front of a gondola while it is being dumped into the crusher pit.

The photo to the left shows the back of a gondola being dumped into the crusher pit. You can see the hydraulics and dumping arms that quickly dump the ore into the crusher pit.
