Site History - Versions 1 & 2

The very first version of our site was created on Delphi. At that time A Scoff an' Scuff was a one-page site telling how we met, about our formal and informal wedding ceremonies and a bit about Labrador. It was active from Nov 1998 until 17 May 2000.

Version 2 of A Scoff an' Scuff went live on 18 May 2000 and was created using Geocities Pagebuilder. This version went through many changes including background, navigation, text, colors, and graphics. The graphics were made in Ulead PhotoImpact Version 3.0. We soon outgrew the allotted 25M and expanded into two more Geocities sub-domain names.

If you ever need patriotic graphics that are 20 to 75K each (but don't have their own zip code), you can click on the red screenshot and help yourself. Our first attempt at hand-coded HTML were tables to display mileage for Highway 389 and site navigation. It was during the lifespan of this version that we created our first award program which received the initial rating of 3.5 from Award Sites! on 14 February 2001. This site received 4,734 guests during the 9 months it was active.
