Canada's hockey heritage makes an appearance in this sculpture. For the uninitiated, this is the Stanley Cup which is presented annually to the National Hockey League (NHL) champions. The Montreal Canadiens team logo is on the left and Toronto Maple Leafs team logo is on the right.

This sculpture is a representation of some of the wildlife that can be seen in Labrador West during the winter. There is a caribou, white wolf and ptarmigan
