The finished sculpture before the rains came.

The sculpture on January 10, 2005. Unfortunately, on the night of December 23, the temperature went from minus 30 C to plus 7 C (minus 22F to 44 F). The temperature increase caused the falling snow to turn to rain that deteriorated the beautiful sculptures. Subsequent snowfall hid even more of the intricate details of this monument.
