Christmas 2004 Ice and Snow Sculptures

A letter from the artists:

"My name is Shawn Daigle and I am writing you today in the hope that you may be able assist me in showing gratitude and appreciation for the many compliments that Joe Mayo and I, have been receiving for the snow sculpture we constructed on our front lawn this Christmas. The sculpture shown in the photos provided was started on Dec. 3rd and finally completed on Dec. 23rd. Unfortunately, due to the extremely mild weather we experienced in the early morning hours of Dec. 24th, the finished Sculpture did not survive long enough to allow very many people to see it. With all the traffic and 'stoppers-by' that passed our home, after the 24th, to view our artwork, we can't help but feel very disappointed that there was not much left to them see. Many people still took photos and complimented us on what remained. For this, I felt that I would like to give the people a chance to see what the sculpture looked like before Christmas Eve. If possible would you please consider publishing 1 or 2 photos which I have provided so that your reading audience can view and enjoy them."
