Because there had been very little snow this year, we were wondering if Edouard Daigle was going to carve a Christmas sculpture this year. The sculpture to the left was carved just a few days before Christmas. The carving wished people passing by a Merry Christmas. Colored candles and poinsettias add to the beauty of the sculpture. | |

This year candles with poinsettias seemed to be the central theme for most carvings in the area. Although the carving looked lovely in the evening with colored lights enhancing its beauty, there was not adequate light to get a decent photograph. This is the first time that we have seen a carving at this particular address and we're looking forward to seeing next year's sculpture. |
