After the top was hand quilted:

The crib quilt (46" x 46") is a pattern called Basket of Flowers. It is made from ivory and rose 100% cotton with 100% cotton batik flowers. This quilt is machine pieced, machine appliqued and hand quilted. The backing is 100% ivory cotton. The binding is rose 100% cotton. The batting is a medium weight, warm fiberfill. The baskets and flowers are outlined quilted ¼" from the seams. There is a feathered design in the corners and the sashing is quilted with an overlapping curve design. There are 63 linear yards (57 linear meters) of quilting; or 4.7 linear yards of quilting per each square foot with 8-9 stitches per inch. The quilt was completed on April 14, 2008.
