This basket quilt (34" x 40") is made to fit a crib. This quilt is made from pinkish-lavendar and white fabric in 100% cotton. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. The backing is 100% white cotton. The binding is matching fabric. The batting is a medium weight, warm fiberfill. The squares and triangles outlined quilted ¼" from the seams in white quilting thread with a floral motif quilted in the plain squares; the white border is quilted with a swag and feather design. There is 166 linear yards of quilting; or 4.1 linear yards of quilting per each square foot with 8-9 stitches per inch. The quilt and pillow was completed on December 24, 2007.
