This 78" x 102" full quilt is made from gold and ivory 100% cotton. The backing is ivory 100% cotton. The double binding is gold 100% cotton. The batting is fiberfill. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. There are 726 linear feet of hand quilting or 4.3 linear yards of quilting for each square foot of quilt. It was completed in August 2004. The plain blocks, set on diagonal, are quilted with a double curved line design. The basket is outlined ¼-inch from the seams and a heart is quilted into the center of the basket. The border is quilted with an interlocking swag and rose motif. The matching European-style shame are quilted to match and have the curved design in the corners so they match the plain blocks of the quilt.
