This 80" x 96" full quilt is made from purple, hot pink and white 100% cotton. The backing is white fabric. The double binding is hot pink 100% cotton. The batting is fiberfill. It is hand quilted. The white pieces are outlined ¼ inches from the edge. The octagons are quilted with a hippie motif of hearts, peace signs, flowers, etc. The outside border is quilted with interlocking hearts. There are 2.9 yards of quilting per each square foot of quilt. It was made as a graduation gift for the purchaser's step-daughter.
