This queen quilt (90" x 114") is made from three shades of grape, a multi-colored print plus ivory 100% cotton. The backing is ivory 100% cotton fabric. The double binding is grape 100% cotton. The batting is fiberfill. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. It was completed in November 2002. The pattern is outlined ¼ from the seams. The plain blocks are quilted with a feathered star design The inner border is ivory and quilted in interlocking hearts, the four outside borders are quilted with parallel lines 1-3/4" apart. The total border is 14". The quilt is shown on a queen bed. This quilt has 206 yards of quilting or 2.9 yards of quilting per square foot of 8-11 stitches per inch.
