This wall quilt (36" x 36") is made from red, green, purple and ivory 100% cotton. The backing is ivory cotton fabric. The binding is red cotton. The batting is fiberfill. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. It was completed in December 2001. The compass is outlined ¼ from the seams and a starburst quilting design flows from the spikes which continues into the border; a quadruple, interlocked curved pattern completes the ivory. This quilt has 30 yards or quilting or 4.8 yards per square foot of 6 stitches per inch.
