This queen sized quilt (88" x 96") top is made from cranberry and black 100% cotton. The backing is cranberry cotton fabric. The double binding is black cotton. The batting is fiberfill. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. The photos are 4" x 4" and depict seven generations of the artist's mother's life. It was completed in May 2000. The triangles are outlined ¼ from the seams. The sashing is quilted with interlocking curves and squares are in the small cross squares. The border is quilted with an interlocking curve motif. Through digital printing, the back lists who is shown in each of the ninety photos. The quilt was a 84th birthday gift for the artist's mother.
