This design is the same as a snowball nine-patch or oddball, only the fabric colors are placed differently. This crib quilt (40" x 60") top is made from plum, hunter and ivory 100% cotton. The backing is ivory cotton fabric. The double binding is hunter cotton. The batting is fiberfill. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. It was completed in November 1999. An ornate design is quilted in the white center blocks with an outline boarder ¼ from the edge. The nine-patch is quilted in an outline stitch around the ivory block. The border is quilted with interlocking curves.
