This wall quilt (36" x 36") top is made from red, white and Newfoundland tartan 100% cotton. The backing is white cotton fabric. The double binding is red cotton. The batting is fiberfill. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. The four photos are 4" x 4" and depict Newfoundland scenes. It was completed in September 1999. The triangles are outlined ¼ from the seams. The sashing is quilted with interlocking curves and squares are in the small cross squares. The border is quilted with an interlocking curve motif.
