This queen sized quilt (90" x 108") top is made from seafoam, rose and ivory 100% cotton. The backing is ivory cotton fabric. The double binding is rose cotton. The batting is ultra-thin fiberfill. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. It was completed in May 1999 for Gary's 50th Birthday. The sashing is quilted with a double chain design. The Star is outlined ¼ from the seams and a flower is quilted into the ivory corner blocks. The center block of the star and the center block of the sashing is a pre-printed floral motif. The border is quilted with a curve and leaf design and double parallel, diagonal lines. This quilt displays 563 linear yards of quilting and is the most quilting I have done on a single project.
