This full size quilt (81" x 96") top is made from blue, navy and white 100% cotton. The backing is white cotton fabric. The double binding is blue cotton. The batting is fiberfill. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. It was completed in August 1989. The squares are outlined ¼ from the seams. An ornate design is quilted between the squares. The border is quilted with a feather swag and completed with a sawtooth boarder. This is a variation of an Irish chain quilt design.
