This queen sized quilt (90" x 96") top is made from red, green and ivory 100% cotton. The backing is ivory cotton fabric. The double binding is green cotton. The batting is fiberfill. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. It was completed in April 1988. The feathered star is outlined ¼ from the seams and a snowflake is quilted in each corner. The border is quilted with a feathered swag. The sashing is quilted with interlocking curves. There is a sawtooth border on the edge as well as around the outside of the sashing. This is one of the artist's favorite creations.
