This wall quilt (36" x 36") top is made from navy, red and blue 100% cotton. The backing is ivory cotton fabric. The double binding is red cotton. The batting is fiberfill. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. It was completed in August 1987. The alternating blue blocks are quilted with a curving design. The sashing is quilted with an outline stitch. The red, inner sawtooth boarder is outline quilted. Then navy, outer border is quilted with interlocking curved lines. The bear paw is outline quilted ¼ with a small heart in each peach square.
