Quilt Design - Setting the Blocks


These are examples of Ohio Star blocks. The top left is placed block touching block placed on the diagonal. The top right has a plain block between each block which gives a nice area to quilt and gives the pieced block some space. The lower quilts have used sashing. The lower left uses fabrics used in the pieced block and the lower right uses a dominate color from the pieced blocks.
